There are many applications requiring the drilling of a larger diameter hole than can be drilled with a common drill bit -- this is when the hole saw comes into play. Hole saws are available in diameters from 9/16" to 7" and come in many different configurations for cutting different types of materials.

• Brazed-Carbide -- Alloy steel with individual carbide teeth brazed on each cutting face. Special tooth configurations allow cutting of virtually any material.
   

• CIC 200™ Bi-Metal Hacksaws -- High speed steel cutting edge electron beam welded to an alloy steel back providing an extremely hard cutting surface and a forgiving backing to resist shock and breakage.
   

• CIC 200™ Tungsten Carbide Grit Hole Saws -- Carbide chips welded to a high speed steel hole saw. Designed for cutting abrasive materials such as fiberglass and composites. Not recommended for ferrous metals.
